Engagement Manager

The primary role of the Engagement Manager is to effectively lead the implementation of the Software’s Partner price and sales optimization solutions. The EM will be responsible in leading the internal and Customer teams towards a high-quality deliverable, while remaining on time and within budget.

  • Understand business requirements and translate that into concrete design decision for the team to implement.
  • Lead design process & validate results.
  • Coach and lead customers on pricing and sales best practices.
  • Manage the overall project, making sure timeline & project expectations are meet.
  • User training within the context of the new product application and pricing processes.
  • Prepare workshop & needed materials to display deliverables.
Key requirements

Better way to know

  • M.A./M.S. degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 or more years of enterprise or SaaS application software implementation experience.
  • Prior experience as part of a project team (lead role with plan, resource and issue/change responsibilities) that successfully managed a full life cycle implementation or consulting.
  • Consulting Experience.
  • Experience analysing data.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Organize time effectively and determine the right resources needed to effectively perform job assignments.
  • Fluent English skills required; German or any other languages are considered an advantage.
Desirable skills

Better way to know

  • Academic or industry exposure to B2B or B2C pricing and revenue optimization.
  • Experience in deploying large scale enterprise software that employs operations research, statistics, or data science methods and algorithms.
  • Industry experience in distribution, manufacturing, transportation, hospitality, or financial services is desirable.
  • Prior experience working within a professional services organization.
  • Experience with SQL or other relational database management systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau or another BI tool.
  • Experience with B2B pricing, sales, and ERP/CRM processes.
